A registered Psychologist and Executive Committee Member on the National College of Organisational Psychology in Australia, Liz has been bringing out the best in Australia’s leaders, teams and organisations for over 15 years.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Liz has been increasingly called upon to deliver workplace mental health solutions for organisations including Cancer Council NSW & VIC, Uniting, and National Disability Services.

Liz is committed to delivering research-based solutions that incorporate an understanding of how the brain works. She is consistently acknowledged for the quality of her work, her personable style and her ability to partner with executives and senior leaders to deliver outstanding results.

Liz founded Collective Strength, an organisational psychology and management consultancy in 2020. Collective Strength brings together seasoned professionals in the fields of Leadership and Culture, Strategic HR, and Workplace Mental Health. We believe one of the most pressing problems facing organisations is workplace mental health and are committed to adopting a preventative approach. Our solutions are evidence-based and supportive of the needs of both employees and the organisation.

Prior to founding Collective Strength, Liz established and managed Liz Payne Consulting, an independent management consultancy for 10 years. She worked for the global management consultancy, Hay Group (now KornFerry) from 2005-2010 and as a Human Resources consultant at Coca-Cola Amatil.

Liz holds a first-class Bachelor of Arts (Hons. Psychology) from the University of Manchester, U.K. and a Masters of Organisational Psychology (Hons.) from the University of New South Wales. Liz is accredited in a range of respected culture and leadership assessment tools (including SHL, Hogan, KornFerry/ Hay Group, Human Synergistics LSI, GSI OCI, and TalentQ).
