As Charter Hall’s Head of People, Emma is responsible for driving a HR agenda that fosters culture, delivers performance through people, and curates memorable employee experiences at one of Australia’s leading property investment and funds management groups. Emma holds a BBA & B-Arts Psychology and has 16 years’ of HR experience across the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Funds Management industries.

In a world of increasing automation and depersonalisation, Emma is passionate about creating unique and highly individualised experiences for Charter Hall’s 600 employees across Australia. Over her 9 years there, Emma has contributed to a significant growth and transformational change agenda including a focus on the role of workplace, wellbeing and ways of working in culture.

In 2021 for the first time, Charter Hall was named an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency. It was also recognised as one of the first organisations globally to achieve a WELL portfolio score from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) and received the Australian HR Award for Best Health and Wellbeing Program. Charter Hall was also named in the AFR Best Places to Work list for 2021.
