Katrina leads the HR function for Australia and New Zealand for the Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies. Joining Johnson and Johnson in July 2016, Katrina is leading an agenda to prepare the organization and people to be ready for any future, and enable ingenuity by creating an atmosphere where employees can have their “best day”
Katrina has significant experience in generalist, strategic and operational, and specialist Human Resources and having partnered with a diverse stakeholder group in multiple markets. Katrina’s experience spans a variety of industries including medical device, pharmaceutical, distribution, entertainment, and recruitment.
Katrina joined Johnson and Johnson after 6 years with Smith & Nephew where, most recently, she held the role of Senior Director Human Resources ANZ & Japan. In this role Katrina led the people agenda for significant business transformation initiatives; resulting in organizational readiness for a sustainable future. Katrina also partnered with the business to deliver a healthy pipeline of diverse talent.
Prior to joining Smith and Nephew, Katrina worked for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and successfully lead the change program for the acquisition of Wyeth by Pfizer.
Katrina joined Wyeth from Wesfarmers, Australia’s largest private sector employer. In her six years with the Industrial and Safety Division, in various HR positions, Katrina led the development and execution of high impact organisational development programs creating a high performance culture and contributing to a significant improvement in employee engagement and retention.
Katrina holds a Masters in Human Resources Management, Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) and executive coaching certification. Katrina is a Certified Professional Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
